Fruit Brulee

3 cups fruit (either seedless green grapes, peaches,
    strawberries, blueberries or raspberries)
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

Place fruit of your choice in a 9-inch glass pie pan or some other shallow ovenproof dish.

In a small bowl, combine sour cream and vanilla extract. Pour mixture over the fruit. Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar. Broil until the sugar caramelizes. Watch it carefully because the sugar needs to melt without burning. Cover and refrigerate several hours before serving.
