24 graham cracker squares
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Arrange graham crackers in single layer in ungreased 15 x 10-inch jellyroll pan.
Heat brown sugar and margarine to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly; remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract. Pour sugar mixture over crackers, spreading evenly. Sprinkle with pecans. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until bubbly. Cool slightly.
Makes about 2 dozen squares, with 90 calories per square.
