Raised Waffles

1/2 cake mix
4 tablespoons warm water
4 cups milk
4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter, melted
2 eggs, well beaten

Disolve cake mix in warm water, mix with milk and flour which you have sifted with salt. Beat hard and let set to rise covered, in a warm place, overnight.

In the morning whip in melted butter and eggs and cook in waffle iron until golden brown.

You may also set this mixture to rise in the morning and it will be ready for supper!
