1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt (kosher preferred)
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh sage leaves, slivered (or equivalent dried)
Drain beans well in colander.
In nonstick skillet, heat oil until hot. Add beans and fry until they begin to get crisp on outside and are creamy inside. Add salt, pepper and sage. Continue cooking 2 minutes.
